It does need some help to brighten it up doesn't it. Looks like you are going with browns and tan....pick something brighter...and then add something to the walls, they look plain. Pick up some samples from the local paint or hardware store.What color should i paint my room.?
If you are into the beach scene, try a teal or aquamarine. The colors are beautiful %26amp; look great with accessories in shades of coral.

pick two shades of the same color and do a faux finsh.its very easy just mix one part glaze and four parts paint.use a sponge or rag and blot away.practice on card board first
go to like marvins they those patterns you can get and even tells you what colors make those colors on the back of the patern or strips , there some really cool colors too. Don't be too hasty in choosing as these will be yourrrr room color for yrsss to come and you hopefully want to be a color that you won't wake up tomorrow and say yuch to or man i made a mistake . Take your time in choosing .
