Nursery paint color ideas?

Me and my husband are currently staying at my mothers to save a little extra money to get into our first house when our first child is born. The room we are staying in needs to be painted, so we are choosing a color for the baby because after we move out it will be ';her room'; at my mother's.

We are trying to stay away from pink and purple (my husband can't believe how much stuff we've gotten so far is pink! lol) and since we still have to live in this room for at least five more months we don't want to paint it something like a bright yellow that will give us a headache.

Any ideas that are still a little girly but not over powering? :)Nursery paint color ideas?
how about a soft sage green? then accent with pink. or a nice soft lime green. found a cute bedding with frogs and princesses and castels on babies r us before--that would be cute. it had all colors in the bedding--pink,lime green, lavender, yellow.Nursery paint color ideas?
You can paint the room sage...that would be good for you as well as her--but might be a bit mature...

Or you could do any color you would like and just add a child-themed wallpaper border and base the color on that...

You could do lavender--not exactly purple--

Good Luck
I think you should do a baby green color. To make it fun...you can paint on some little pink and purple flowers!! That'd be cute!
Sage green.
