Royal Blue Furniture in a kids room...what color should I paint the walls? He wants BLUE! That will be to much?

I don't know what other color to do though!Royal Blue Furniture in a kids room...what color should I paint the walls? He wants BLUE! That will be to much?
play around with the Sherwin Williams color visualizer to help you imagine how the colors will look together. It is the best paint visualizer on the web, imho. I like how their color palette is laid out, I like that you can search by color family %26amp; color name, the ';painted'; rooms look the most realistic, and it suggests coordinating color schemes. You can literally spend hours:

I think ';realist beige'; (# 6078) might be a good choice.

You can take a photo of your house %26amp; upload it to the makeover gallery on this website:

You can get color suggestions %26amp; for $5 they'll photoshop them onto your room so that you can get an idea of what it will look like.Royal Blue Furniture in a kids room...what color should I paint the walls? He wants BLUE! That will be to much?
Blue is a very calming color in a child's room. His furniture is royal blue and he wants blue walls? So go for a soft blue on the walls. Make the trim white. Add white accessories (lamp, curtains, etc.)

Your child will do good in a blue room. It's also the color preferred by most guys and it is relaxing on the mood.

So go for it... it's only paint (which is the least expensive way to change a room). I say go for the blue... it is after all, his room :)

Check out the link above. It is a picture of another bedding collection with a sports theme and blue walls. Ralph Lauren paints make some beautiful blues for boys rooms. Don't be afraid to mix the blues. There are other great shades of lighter blues without making it look like a nursery. A great way to try a color is to buy a quart and paint a large piece of white paper and tape it to the wall behind a piece of the blue furniture. I don't recommend painting swatches directly on the wall, it can sometimes be hard to cover over. You can get rolls of white paper at an office supply store. It's a lot easier to replace a quart of paint than to repaint an entire room! Good luck.
yellow it will contrast with the furniture and green quilt cover as this combination of primary colours and secondary colours, yellow and blue make green
