Bedroom wall paint color question

Recently I bought a duvet color that is black with black metallic-y stripes. My sheets are also black and I have silver throw pillows. I also bought a lot of decorative candles that are silver, white, dark gray, and some that are maroon and beige. I have a vanity and bed stand that have black metal stands and glass tops. I've yet to get curtains.

I really, really want to paint my walls some variation of gray/silver. Anyone have experience with this? Any pictures of rooms with a similar color style? Any advice, period?

If someone has an idea for wall paint that ISN'T gray/silver but would you think would look good, feel free to share.Bedroom wall paint color question
play around with the Sherwin Williams color visualizer to find colors that you like. It is the best paint visualizer on the web, imho. I like how their color palette is laid out, I like that you can search by color family %26amp; color name, the ';painted'; rooms look the most realistic, and it suggests coordinating color schemes. You can literally spend hours:

I think ';quest gray'; (# 7080) might look terrific.

You can also take a photo of your house %26amp; upload it to the makeover gallery on this website:

You can get color suggestions %26amp; they'll photoshop them onto your room so that you can get an idea of what it will look like.Bedroom wall paint color question
just paint the walls a pastel color...whatever you like, then you can do a faux finish with a silver paint or a really shiny glaze.
May be u should go for Metallic furniture, or somthin really match up with your color scheme, check out for Indian traditional wall Sculptures. i have them in my Rooms.
Instead of a pure gray, why not go with a grayish lavender.
you should paint it white it go's with everything

go for burgundy and beige in vertical thin and thick stripes
ok so i have this talent for decorating houses, i actually just painted a spare bedroom in my house gray with a maroon accent wall! something like this http://img.hgtv.com/HGTV/2008/04/03/hmof鈥?/a>

i know they dont have an accent wall but you can see how it would look from the curtains. you can workin more marroon once you paint because the accent wall will really make the items in that color stand out.--also i wouldnt paint the wall where your window is i would paint another and get marroon curtains to go on the gray wall with the window. or if u think the wall with the window would look nice as the accent wall then use grey curtains

another idea is to choose to tones of grey and devide it with a chair rail like this

that might be a better idea if you dont want that much maroon in your room...i suggested marron to you because marron and grey look sooo good together in rooms.

anyway good luck on whatever you choose hope you love your new room however u decide to paint it!
