im going to be painting my room eventually. i was thinking a bright pink and light blue. but now im starting to change my mind. i love the color pink. im probably gonna do every other wall the same color. so like it would pink wall, blue wall, pink wall, blue wall. and then im probably gonna splatter paint it. i cant really decide what to do. any color ideas ?. or any ideas for what the design should be ?. oh yeahh one of the colors has to be some kind of pink !. not a veryy light pink though. a bright pink :). oh and btw this is for a 15 year old girl.Paint color combination ideas?
Pink and blue walls does not sound pretty to me.

Keep in mind that darker colors make your room look smaller.

Splatter paint is very, very difficult to remove. Even if you keep this room for 10 years, when your parents eventually sell it would be a serious negative for the house.

Paint should be the background for your bedding and accessories, not the focal point.

I don't often like different colored walls, but since you seem set on it, here is my suggestion:

Deep Carnation/Sweet Taffy with Alabaster Doors and Trim

this would work really well with this bedding: http://www.pbteen.com/products/heart-to-鈥?/a>

Another idea is:

Yellow Lotus/Bubble Bath walls with Lemon Chiffon Trim/doors and this bedding http://www.pbteen.com/products/big-dot-q鈥?/a>

One more idea:

Rasperry Mousse/Light Chiffon Pink with Pure white doors/trim and this bedding http://www2.jcpenney.com/jcp/X6E.aspx?De鈥?/a>

If you can give up the idea of two colored walls, this bedding http://www.target.com/DwellStudio-Target鈥?/a>

would look great with light blue walls (Benjamin Moore Blue Angel for the walls, Snow white for the trim/doors) You could then add loads of pink accessories.

I used Benjamin Moore's color visualizer and bedroom 12 (Dynamic Decor) since it has two wall colors. http://www.benjaminmoore.com/bmpsweb/por鈥?/a>Paint color combination ideas?
i think u shud do what u though (pink n light blue) n splatter paint the pink with light blue n light blue with pink. or u could put lavender or a lime green instead of the light blue. lime green would b cool. if u choose SUPER bright things, tho, it might make ur room 2 dizzing n then it might ruin the whole thing.
Pink and orange look good together... :))

You could do pink and rasberry or dark purple.

I like pink and orange. it looks cool!!!

Hope this helps!!!!!

Oh and with pink and orange you can splatter yellow on both. that would look cool

WOOOOSHHH
One popular design trend is to use more than one color to paint a bedroom. The traditional way of doing this is to paint the walls the primary color and the trim in a different color or with a high-gloss premium white. Two current trends are to create an accent wall or divide the wall with a chair rail and paint the two sections different colors. The process involves selecting colors, when to choose an accent wall or chair rail, and how to paint the room.

Choose a color that calms you.

The bedroom should be a place in the house that you can go to to unwind; somewhere you can relax. Soft blues and greens, as well as neutrals can help create a calming paint color. Whatever hue it is that takes you to your zen place, consider that paint color for your bedroom.

Choose bedroom furniture and accessories first.

Make sure that the bedroom paint color either works with what furniture you have, or that you have bedroom furniture in mind that will go well with the color that you choose.

Use a virtual room painter to make sure you like the paint design.

There are many different computer applications and online virtual room painting programs that allow you to see what a room will look like with a certain color paint. Choose a room layout that looks similar to yours, and see if the bedroom paint still works for you once it's filling an entire room.
switching colors on walls is not a good idea typically when you are painting a room you paint three walls one color and then you hav an accent wall (which in a bedroom is usually the wall where your headboard goes) about 5 years ago I had a bedroom that I was in love with. the walls were all completely tan and the trim was cream(i decided to keep the wall color neuttral because I like to change my theme alot) but my bed set was a raspberry pink. The throw pillows on my bed were light purple, dark purple, and orange (you have to find the right tones in all of them to make them match right) the carpets were the same color raspberry and an as was the lamp I got the lamp at target and it was a really modern really cool lamp. then when I changed the scheme of my room I painted the lamp to match the room because I loved the lamp so much. My suggestion is keep your walls neutral because you can grow out of it really quick and you save money and time. But you can still give your room the same kind of feel if you decorate right and use rugs and colorful lamps etc...also if your room has enough space I would recomend buying a chair ( a comfy chair not like a computer chair) that wasnt pink but matched one of the other colors you picked to match and add some pink thow pillows on the chair...but chairs arent usually cheap so id get a color that you could carry on with you when you do decide to change.
