Hammerite is good, it was what I used on the brackets for hanging baskets.What's the best type of paint for cast iron that will last long and look nice? I want a white color.?
The key is to use a good primer. Rustoleum makes an excellent metal primer. Then you can pretty much use any kind of paint. A spray-on white lacquer would probably work the best.
