What color should I paint my room!?

I am a 16 year old girl, and i am painting my room. right now i have two walls of dark green and two walls of dark purple, i was thinking about saving one purple accent wall and then painting the others a lighter purple?


what else do you think? should i scratch it and go with some sort of light orange or something? help!What color should I paint my room!?

I like purple with green best. A sage or celery green, not a minty toothpaste one. If you are buying new bedding, get that first and match the green from it to your wall. Here is some bedding you might like:

I think with a touch of dark orange color, and add some posters on the wall, and some jewelry in the corner of the room atmosphere will provide the other
Love the orange idea, those two colors go lovely together. I've read for bedrooms, that you should paint them in skin tones. In which case, you might want to ditch the purple and go with the brown and orange. But your 16 and sky's the limit I say. Nothing can really be too crazy. But do keep in mind that sometims crazy colors can affect your sleep, too busy you may have a hard time falling asleep. Fun, fun~
Purple and blue would go well together. Make sure the paint has the same ';tone'; so it look good together. Thats very important.
Hey yeah I am sixteen too I painted two walls white and two purple it really works well because its a good combo and you can match alot of things with purple and white (like brown bed covers??)
