Help with paint color?

the attched picture is the exact carpet that is in my home, what would you suggest as a good wall color???

If you plan to use one color throughout your house, then you should keep it neutral. Such as a khaki or tan color. If it is only one room that you plan to paint, then you should consider the colors of your furnishings. The carpet is such a neutral color that you could actually pair it with any color walls. Remember too that there are certain colors that compliment each other. They are opposite on the color wheel.
Consider a color called ';clay beige'; that Color Wheel sells. I'd paint celings and walls in this color and perhaps accent one wall with the same shade only 3 or 4 shades darker. Any paint store can do that. The color is sort of a mushroom color and will complement your carpet and allow you to bring in additional earth tone colors like cinnabar, brown, off-white, even black and brown. have fun.
have you herad of complementary colours? they tell you what will show off the colours, so if you have green carpet you should have red walls, blue carpet is orange walls, and yellow carpet purple walls. i had a look at your pic and i think you should get a light lime green or depending on your furniture a soft peach colour

I think a cream and a rust brown
A good wall colour would be something nice in the mustard family. The colour of the rug would accent the wall colour perfectly.
