I have a bedroom with a medium color of blue carpet and i was wondering what colour I could paint my walls?

I have to agree that the red and black bedding may not work so well.....perhaps paint the wall behind the bed a deep chocolate brown, and a pale beige or tan on the other walls. All the large discount stores have some great bedding sets that are shades of blue and brown...retro but really cool looking.


If you prefer lighter tones, consider a softer sandy color on the walls with white trim, and perhaps some seaside inspired bedding. You can make a light airy room without having to go for rope and seashells.


If your taste is more Americana, play white walls and go for the whole red white and blue scheme. Worse comes to worse....find a throw rug or two with the red and black, cover most of the blue carpet, ignore the rest and build your room around the red and black.
well, i'm trying to picture how red %26amp; black bedding goes w/ your blue carpet ... not getting a nice visual. i'd say change your bedding %26amp; paint your walls like a creamy brown, like cappuccino color.
If you wish to stay with the bedding... then go with a dove grey





If not, then any taupe/tan/brown would work well with the blue as long as it not too pink... in that case you want different bedding
